Cast iron paperweight - Japanese helmet kabuto

A miniature piece of Japanese tradition - cast iron paperweight in the shape of a kabuto - intricate helmet worn by warriors in feudal Japan. It can be displayed also as a original decoration in your home or office.
It is a nanbu ironware, traditional cast iron item from Iwate prefecture.

Different shapes available:
-kabuto of Miyamoto Yoshitsune, decorated with v-shaped "horns", and family crest showing bamboo leaves
-kabuto of Oda Nobunaga, adorned with round flower like family crest;
both helmets are in copper brown shade, with bronze accents.

The strings are made of synthetic fibers. The colors are slightly faded. The strings can be easily substituted if needed.
Please note, this is a vintage item. Some scratches, or a spot discoloration, might be present.
