A traditional Japanese wind chime, fuurin, in the shape of a simple dome, with organic texture on the surface. These chimes are traditionally used during summer - their sound is supposed to bring refreshment during hot and humid season.

It is a nanbu ironware, traditional cast iron item from Iwate prefecture.
This one is shaped like a pine cone. Despite the small size, it produces distinctive, clear notes.
The original paper strip, propelling the chime, is included. On the one attached to the brown pine cone, the printed text says "fuurin from Michinoku", which was a former province located in present day Fukushima, Iwate, Miyagi, and Aomori, and where nanbu ironware was produced, on one side. The other side contains a poem by Takuboku Ishikawa, in which the author recalls willows turning green over a river in his hometown.
The paper strip attached to the green pine cone is damaged due to the age of the item; a replacement will be included.

The surface of the chime was artificially oxidized, to produce the color.
The strings are made of cotton.

Two colors available- green, and brown. Among brown, two grades are available. The cheaper one has a small dent on the side, due to imperfect casting. It does not affect the functionality of the item.
