Fukuro obi- cream and vermilion with peacock feathers

Fukuro obi is a type of formal obi, made of layer of decorated fabric lined with more plain fabric on the reversed side. Can be used as intended, to compliment kimono outfit, but could also be an excellent source of an elegant, thick fabric for upcycling projects- for example, to make luncheon mats, table runners, small bags, or even decorative cushion covers.

Fukuro obi in eye catching combination of cream and vivid vermilion shades. Decoration combines geometric patterns in salmon pink, vermilion, and silver, and stylized peacock feathers finished with holographic thread.
