Fukuro obi- metallic pastel w/flying cranes

Fukuro obi is a type of formal obi, made of layer of decorated fabric lined with more plain fabric on the reversed side. Can be used as intended, to compliment kimono outfit, but could also be an excellent source of an elegant, thick fabric for upcycling projects- for example, to make luncheon mats, table runners, small bags, or even decorative cushion covers.

Metallic  fukuro obi decorated with images of flying cranes. In pastel shades, light gold, and silver. Back side is plain cream color.

Length 420cm, width 30cm.

Might have few slightly pulled threads due to the age and nature of the fabric.
