Furo obi- cream with silver bamboo fence

Fukuro obi is a type of formal obi, made of layer of decorated fabric lined with more plain fabric on the reversed side. Can be used as intended, to compliment kimono outfit, but could also be an excellent source of an elegant, thick fabric for upcycling projects- for example, to make luncheon mats, table runners, small bags, or even decorative cushion covers.

Cream fukuro obi with eye catching pattern of a bamboo fence, finished with a metallic thread.

Back in plain cream color. There are few pulled threads; otherwise, obi in very good condition.
