A vintage calligraphy set enclosed in an elegant lacquer-ware style box.

The elegant flat, circular box is decorated with printed decoration depicting plum blossoms.
Inside there is a miniature calligraphy set- a small ceramic water container, small palette for preparing ink, a block of ink, and a brush.

The finish is a synthetic resin. Most of the parts, such as the handle of the brush, the box, and the palette, are made of synthetic material.

The box itself could be used to store your favorite brushes, inks, or watercolors. The item will make also an excellent interior decoration. The black insert with designated spaces for the items is removable - the box can be used for different purposes. The set is unused, but the lid decoration is slightly worn out in a few spots.
