Vintage Japanese silk shibori obiage sash - vivid fuchsia with a pastel rainbow accent
An obiage is a long sash-like strip of fabric, used among many other items to tie an obi. A part of it is showing above it, adding a dash of color, as a decoration.
It can be used also with Western style clothing as a unique accessory.
This one is decorated in tie-dye technique shibori, creating a distinctive texture. The main color is a bright fuchsia; on one of the ends of the fabric there is a diagonal stripe in pastel rainbow shades and some gold accents.
