Vintage narrow kaku obi - light beige hakata ori

Kaku obi are narrow and long obi sashes, usually worn by men. Hakata ori refers to a traditional weaving technique, originating in Hakata city (now part of Fukuoka).

It is decorated with easily recognizable geometric pattern.
This one is very casual, in sandy beige shade with simple black and beige decoration.
It is reversible - geometric decoration is one side, while the other side is plain, with a single black stripe.

In good state. No visible damage. The set contains short ribbon used for dressing, and a small leaflet with instructions how to tie such obi.
