A handy container, used to discard water and tea leaves during a tea ceremony. It is made of thin metal alloy, with a copper lid. The lid has several openings in it, allowing for the steam to escape. It is removable.
Size diameter ca 9.5cm, height 9cm. The item is in a good condition, but shows some signs of use-such as discoloration on the lid, and some scratches inside and outside. Please check the photos carefully before purchasing.
It's original wooden box is included. On the lid, there are printed ideograms for "kensui", as well as the name of the maker and style of the item - "Shikibu koshoku".
