Vintage Japanese wagashi press mold - chrysanthemum flower

A unique vintage item - wooden press mold used for making traditional sweets. Original and eye-catching, surely will compliment any interior - be it your office, a kitchen, or a café. It can be framed, displayed as it is, or used as a shallow jewelry tray, for example. It might work as a clay or papier-mâché mold as well.

Please note, this is a vintage item. The bamboo one is having a big crack on the left side. It might grow bigger if exposed to humidity.
There are scratches, some chips on the wood, spot discoloration, some wax residue, etc. The item was washed with vinegar mixture to prevent molding, but it might occur if stored in a humid environment.
