A must-have for a vintage lover: a handbag decorated with glass beads. Similar bags were popular in Japan in the ‘80s and ‘90s among young women dressing up in a kimono for official occasions, such as celebrating becoming an adult, or graduating from a university.
The bag is decorated with a wavy brown and pink pattern, resembling mountain ranges, composed entirely of glass beads. The handle is covered in beads as well. The clasp is partially made of black resin.
The bag is in a good state. Some beads on the back and on the handle are loose. There are a few hairline scratches on the clasp. Please see the photos for the details. The bag will fit a smartphone, as well as a thin wallet, a pack of tissues, lip gloss, and a couple of other small personal items.
