A unique handmade incense cover set. It is handmade out of copper covered with glass enamel, called shippōyaki (七宝焼). It is shaped as a sleeping cat. Its back is decorated with delicate images of cherry tree petals over blue and green waves. The openings for the smoke are in the shape of small birds. The cat rests on a flower-shaped plate. A small soft coaster made of moss-grin chirimen fabric is included.
The item can be displayed on the included plate or coaster alone, or on any base or surface of your liking.
