An elegant Nagoya obi. It's the most popular obi type. Being partially folded, it allows for easier tying, typically into a simple "taiko musubi" knot.
This one is made of smooth red silk, with a bold, big image of a peony bud, in shades of coral-red and pink. A similar pattern is repeated on the narrow end of the obi.
