Fukuro obi is a type of formal obi, made of layer of decorated fabric lined with more plain fabric on the reversed side. Can be used as intended, to compliment kimono outfit, but could also be an excellent source of an elegant, thick fabric for upcycling projects- for example, to make luncheon mats, table runners, small bags, or even decorative cushion covers.
Gorgeous fukuro obi decorated with hexagonal tiles filled red, green, and blue flowers, as well as different geometrical patterns. Has many golden and silver accents. Background in metallic rose gold. Back side is plain orange shade.
Length 408cm, width 29cm.
Might have few slightly pulled threads due to the age and nature of the fabric..
