A portable Japanese hearth/ash holder, made of cast iron. It is designed to contain ash and embers, used to warm up the environment and keep a teapot warm. It can also be used to burn mosquito coils or incense cones.
The set contains of the bigger pot, with small decorative handles on the sides, and a small tripod to put a teapot on. The main pot is attached to a small wooden base. The item is new, unused. The surface was treated with a paint, to produce a rusty brown shade.

The item will be shipped as a registered airmail. If you agree on receiving the item via a naval mail – a slow type of shipment, taking up to 3 MONTHS to arrive – please contact us for a lower price. Depending on your location, I can offer a price reduction up to 50USD.
Please note, 3 months is a long time. Tracking of such parcels works up to the point of the item leaving Japan, and then picks up when the parcel reaches the mainland. It is not possible to check where exactly the parcel is, when the cargo travels across the Pacific.
