A chic handbag with a thin, beaded handle, decorated with glass beads. Similar bags were popular in Japan in the 80s and 90s among young women dressing up in a kimono for official occasions, such as celebrating becoming an adult or graduating from a university.
This one is rather flat, trapezoid-shaped, in a bluish-black/ steel shade. The front is adorned with with a monochrome motif of acanthus leaves. The back of the bag is simpler, with a single leaf in the middle.
Decoration is made entirely of glass beads.
The bag is lined with dark gray silk. There is a tiny pocket inside. The metal clasp is decorated with floral openwork. It is tarnished. Please check the photos carefully before purchasing.

The bag can be worn with evening attire or more casual Western-style clothing. The bag is small, but it will fit an older smartphone, a thin wallet, and a few other small personal items. Due to its retro charm, the item will also work great as a decoration.
Please note, this is a vintage item. It is in a good condition, but some minuscule flaws, such as some discoloration of the fabric, a slightly pulled thread, or some wrinkles, might be present.
