A traditional Japanese wooden doll depicting the famous monk Daruma, half-legendary founder of Zen Buddhism, that can serve as a dice game prop.
Here, two of them are stacked on top of each other. The smaller one has a flat surface on top, to roll your dice. Below, there are different dice values marked. I think originally you were supposed to place drinks around the doll, and the rolled value was indicating which one you are supposed to drink. Of course, you can place different objects around-such as treats, small gifts, cards with a task to perform, etc. The daruma can serve as an original interior decoration or a good luck token as well.
There are some imperfections due to the age of the item - mostly discoloration spots on the wood, and multiple small scratches, etc. Please check the photos carefully before purchasing.
