A miniature piece of Japanese tradition — cast iron paperweight in the shape of a kabuto (an intricate helmet worn by warriors in feudal Japan). It can be displayed also as an original decoration in your home or office.
It is a nanbu ironware, traditional cast iron item from Iwate prefecture.
Set of 3:
-kabuto of Tokugawa Ieyasu, has a crescent shaped decoration, and has patina in a copper shade;
-kabuto of Kusunoki Masahige is decorated with distinctive sword and bow like decoration, also in copper color;
-kabuto of Kato Kiyomasa is in a distinctive prolonged shape; it's black with bronze decorations.
The strings are made of synthetic fibers.
Please note, this is a vintage item. Some scratches, or a spot discoloration, are present. The strings can be replaced if needed.
The set comes with its original box and a small leaflet with the helmets' lineup. Box will be used as a shipping and storage only - due to its age, it's damaged and not suitable as a gift wrapping.
