Collection: Hakama Skirts

Hakama are a form of traditional Japanese attire designed for the lower body. They are secured at the waist and extend down to about the ankles. Typically, hakama are worn over a kimono known as a hakamashita, which translates to "under the hakama," although they can also be worn over a standard kimono. There are two varieties of hakama: umanori, which feature divided legs resembling trousers, and andon bakama, which present a skirt-like design without divisions.
