A big, yet fancy Japanese wallet made of silk with an elegant floral decoration. It is made of the famous woven silk taffeta – Ōshima Tsumugi. There is a small loop on the side to attach a charm or a chain. The top flap is covered with silk; the back of the wallet and the reverse of the flap are made of material resembling leather. We cannot tell if it is genuine leather or synthetic.
Inside, there are three compartments. Two of them can be locked with golden colored metal clasp. Inside is lined with a dark brown satin. There are also two thin card-sized pockets.
