An all-black Nagoya obi, made of thin, semi-transparent fabric, ideal for summer.
Nagoya is the most-used obi type today. One end is folded and sewn in half, the other end is of full width, for easier tying. Usually worn in simple taiko musubi style.
Plain black ones are usually used with mourning clothing, although it can also make an excellent addition to a modern outfit. Fabric could be also easily turned into a simpler belt or a part of a cosplay.
