Bold Japanese hanhaba obi - black with diagonal old gold stripes

A simple obi in contrasting colors. The pattern of diagonal old gold stripes stands out on the black background. The reverse is plain black.
Hanhaba obi is a more casual obi, originally half the width of a fukuro obi. Often worn with a casual summer yukata.
