A heavy, longer garment with a padded hem, possibly a wedding coat uchikake, in a striking color combination. This item might also be used as a hikizuri - trailing costume for stage dances and performances.
The pattern shows graceful cranes, hand fans, and colorful flowers. The background is in a vivid, darker blue, with a repeating pattern of light blue long grass. Some of the cranes are adorned with golden tape.
The garment is lined with white and red synthetic fabric.
Top fabric is possibly a synthetic silk.
It is a former rental item. In a couple of places there are pulled threads. On the red lining near the edge, there is a darker stain. Under the collar, there are some needle marks. The stitching of the red lining is loose. It can be mended by hand if needed. Due to these flaws, the price is reduced.
