An adorable set of small ceramic figurines, depicting two children – a boy and a girl – wearing traditional onesies. The kokeshi doll, traditionally a wooden doll, is a symbol of good luck and has been adapted into a ceramic version by Kutani artisans.
These ceramic dolls are handcrafted and hand-painted, showcasing the intricate details and cultural significance that are hallmarks of both Japanese pottery and the kokeshi doll tradition.
At the bottom, a "kutani" (九谷) sign is painted in red.
