A cute, tiny set for serving Japanese liquor. The bottle is shaped as a daruma (dharma) doll, a popular motif in Japanese art, symbolizing determination and perseverance. Here it is portrayed in a humorous way, with a simplified, comic like face, and a skewed headband typical to food stall cooks and old drinking bar servers. In the set, two tiny cups are included. Each is decorated with an image of a toppled daruma and a line "even if fallen over, it's delicious".
The bottle can also be used to store other beverages, as a decoration, or even a single bud vase. The set is unglazed on the outside. It is a bit rough to touch. Inside, it is covered with deep brown glaze. On the bottom of the bottle, there is the name of the maker. The set comes with its original paper box. On the cover, it's written "Stare down set for dinner-time drink". Inside there is a line meaning "you and me face to face".
