A unique Japanese coaster, made of cast iron.It is shaped like a half-unfolded hand fan. It is adorned with the images of a crane and a turtle- traditional symbols of good health and longevity.
The item can be used as intended, but will look great also as an interior decoration, or serve as a flat tray or an oversized paperweight

The coaster has three short legs. The brown coating is thinned at the highest points of the item. The color might thin further with the usage.
