A small shippōyaki (Japanese glass enamel on a metal substrate) tray intended to keep your pens and brushes organized. Colorful decorations depict traditional Japanese motifs, such as Mt.Fuji and plum blossoms. Glass enamel creates a semi transparent, glossy surface. The metal underneath is textured and carved. The back is black. These trays can also serve as a spot to put your jewelry or keys.
Size ca 20x5.5cm each each one comes with a simple paper box and a leaflet describing the shippōyaki craft.
