A small Japanese paperweight, in the shape of a vintage water fountain from Tokyo. You can see a real one near east exit of Shinjuku station. Called basuisō, such fountains served as watering troughs for horses. On the back, there is a smaller basin for people.
It is made of cast-iron, making it heavy despite its size. On the back, there is a small inscription "90th Anniversary of Tokyo Waterworks – December the 1st 1988".
It can also serve as a unique interior decoration.
The surface is painted in a pleasant mint green color. On the bottom, there is a thin velvet padding.
