An elegant Nagoya obi for festive occasions.
Features a repetitive image of big sized paper fans in white, gold, and yellow colors, on a black background. The fans are decorated with "three friends of winter (Shōchikubai) " - bamboo, pine trees, and plum blossoms. Such pattern represents fortune and resilience, and is often used for celebrations.

Nagoya is the most-used obi type today. One end is folded and sewn in half, the other end is of full width, for easier tying. Usually worn in simple taiko musubi style.

Width 30cm
Length ca 320cm

Rayon with silk and metallic thread.
