Kaku obi are narrow and long obi sashes, usually worn by men. Hakata ori refers to a traditional weaving technique, originating in Hakata city (now part of Fukuoka).
It is decorated with easily recognizable geometric pattern.
This one is reversible. The top fabric is made of silk, with white and blue decoration. The reverse is synthetic, with a pattern of small textured dots.
In a good state. There are few spots with pulled thread. The silk side shows some wear. Please see the last photo for the details.
