Vintage tanmono - fabric bolt - vivid red, blue, and green florals "Benifuji meisen"

An authentic tanmono- traditional narrow fabric roll. Originally intended to be sewn into a yukata, it can be used for any kind of project.

The fabric is thin and airy. The pattern is inspired by the traditional silk weave meisen. It is in wine red shade, with a busy floral pattern in vivid red, blue, green, and white colors.
Original paper tags and basting stitch are attached.

Due to the age and the storage method, there might be some yellowish or discolored spots showing on the white parts. Possibly these can be removed by washing the fabric.
There might be some other imperfections on the fabric deeper inside the roll.
The original plastic wrap is slightly damaged.

Size about 11.4meters x 36cm
Can be washed. Washing in cold water, with delicate detergent, is recommended. It might bleed the dye for a few first times. Please proceed with caution.
