A unique kokeshi – traditional Japanese wooden doll. This one depicts a girl wearing a bright red head wrap. To make her look even more like an apple, a short stem was added to the top of her head. The body is decorated with simplified apples pattern, and some calligraphy. The figurine is made of varnished wood in a natural light color, with yellow and red accents.
On the surface of the item there are some imperfections, such as small chips in wood, and hairline scratches, due to its age.
