Vintage zodiac sign iron cast statuette - set of 2 boars

A unique set of two zodiac sign statuettes, usually displayed at home during the year of such sign.
Both casts depict chubbu boars, with their long snouts facing up.

The surface is treated with paint, to achieve golden and green shades.
There is a small wooden tag attached, with the name of the designer- Saegusa Sotaro, and kanji for "prosperity". A small leaflet with short bio of the artist is included (in Japanese).
In Japan, Chinese zodiac signs are used. People born in years 1995, 2007, 2019 (and so on) have a boaras their sign.
Of course, you do not have to be born under this sign to enjoy the item. It will look great as an interior decoration.

A display base is included - it's oval-shaped, made of plastic. The sculptures stand on their own, and can be displayed in any kind of manner.
Its modern simplified shape and pleasing colors for sure will complement both modern, and more traditional interiors.

The item comes with its original cardboard box, with the tag stating "prosperity", and the name of the maker (an art casting forge). The box is damaged due to the age. There is "2007/ 19yr" handwritten on the side. It will be used for shipping.
The plastic base has some scratches on it.
